Mixed media on canvas, approx. 280 x 230 cm

My work is an introspective journey through intimacy with personal and collective identities.
My latest shift from paper to canvas marks a move from fleeting states to something more lasting and hopeful. Bold colors on resilient surfaces reflect a desire to evoke optimism and endure pain. Light—both visual and metaphorical—plays a central role. It illuminates moments of quiet clarity and presence.
The landscapes, inspired by my experiences in nature, offer familiar yet surreal spaces where joy and serenity are attainable, even amidst global instability. By transforming the canvases into speculative scenes, I invite contemplation on the possibility of peace and joy beyond present crises.
The paintings offer complementary perspectives on how we engage with the ghosts of the past and envision possible futures. Embracing both the tangible and the imagined, my work becomes a transformative exploration of identity, memory, and resilience—where light is not just seen, but felt, thought, and remembered.
