In Spring 2018 I stayed thirty-two days in The Artist Residence Herzliya (IL). Several shocking events occurred during this period in Israel: 62 people were killed in Gaza, Trump visited and an American Embassy was opened in Jerusalem, Iran’s military base was bombed by the Israeli army in Syria, etc. I worked daily on my drawing diary using slogans that I collected from Israeli media; parallel to this I wrote about my daily experiences while living in a beautiful sea resort.
This drawing diary became a substantial part of The Book of Happiness and Sadness published in 2019.
