For the group show Mirror|Mirror. Reflect Youself! curated by Judith van Meeuwen I made a performative object where the museum’s visitors could stand and take a selfie with #kadeconnects.
They could see themselves as a deconstructed reflection but also as a part of the total network-the universe. The abstract patterns multiplied by the mirrors’ reflection mimic human connectivity and explore the significance of belonging to a group versus individualism.
