I spent an entire evening having one-on-one conversations of approximately 15 minutes centered on death, in an especially created installation. The visitors were welcome to share their stories, fears, and concerns, while I visualized these encounters, incorporating my own feelings and responses into the drawings.
My conversation with the visitors always started with the question: Did you experience death in a circle of family or friends?
The result was a collective diary based on the intuitive visualization of verbalized reflections.
The life drawing was filmed by a camera, hanged above my table, and projected on a charcoal drawing of a brain.
